Strong Beginnings, LLC is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and autism services provider established in 2015, located at 2741 South 8th Ave., Suite A and B, Yuma, Arizona 85364. The practice specializes in serving children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other developmental delays, working with families across the Yuma region.

Clinical leadership includes Berenice Diaz, MEd., BCBA, LBA, who serves as founder and clinical director and brings over 22 years of experience to the practice. Ashley, holding an M.S. and BCBA, LBA credentials, serves as Regional Clinical Manager for Arizona. The broader clinical team encompasses additional Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), and Behavior Technicians (BTs), providing layered supervision across service delivery.

Core services include individualized one-on-one ABA and Verbal Behavior (ABA/VB) therapy, delivered by trained behavior therapists under BCBA supervision. Parent training is provided to enrolled families, covering foundational principles of ABA, functions of behavior, reinforcement strategies, and verbal behavior development. The practice extends its community role through public training for law enforcement and community agencies, and offers school consultation services to support children in educational settings.

The clinical approach at Strong Beginnings is described as compassionate and child-led, drawing on evidence-based treatments and respectful, least-intrusive interventions. Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm or 6pm depending on the day, and Friday from 9am to 3pm.

Insurance accepted includes BCBS Arizona, Banner University Family Care (BUFC), and the Arizona Empowerment Scholarship (ESA). Cash, check, and credit card payments are also accepted.
